Metallized Skull project
« on: January 13, 2020, 08:12:24 PM »
My first go at Metallizing a Skull, love the look of a combination of white skulls mixed in with Skulls with different customized color tones.

I'm guessing Krylon paint - they offer it in several metallic colors.
I painted some light switch covers with a combination of copper & bronze to create a really good looking oil-rubbed bronze finish.

After degreased, I sprayed two coats of primer then used my sprayer and gave it two coats of bronze. Once cured I burnished the bronze, I decided To let the bronze cure instead of adding any patina while the bronze was still wet to get a more subtle patina effect.  then strategically used three different color tones to get the desired patina look  once cured I hand polished. And yes it is a Javelina

 Very cool!

Is it possible to do that and keep the teeth white?

Now you need to put a green bronze patina on it.
