Not a bear
« on: February 11, 2020, 07:06:41 AM »
This grizzly bear turned out to be a trash panda. What he lacked for in size, he made up for with bluff and bravado.

I have been in a closed area and between one and the door can be pretty exciting.

I can kind of expect that attitude from a badger, but this guy.....  :chuckle:   if he’d had just a little bit of froth at the mouth I’d have tested whether I could outrun him or not.

My neighbor has a fish pond and calls me over to dispatch all he catches in his traps.  There have been about 10 that have been docile, but there was a big boar that hissed and growled and chewed the cage.  It would have sent me running if that wire wasn't between us.
Dreams are forever on the mind, realization in the hands.

Are we going to do it now, (take your pick), or are raccoons going to do it in 10 million years

Caught one in my tent one night, that was fun!  He ripped a hole in the mesh under the rain fly and dropped in, then couldn't get out.

Back in the 70's while in college, I made a midnight alcohol influenced decision to corner a possum on a sorority's front porch thinking that it would be cool to see it play possum.  It turned into a Tasmanian Devil and chased my ass down the street.  Scared the crap out of me! What the hell makes them play possum?   Apparently not me.  Since then, I give all those little critters a bit more space, just so my manhood stays intact.
