Wa/Ore

This is so freakin gooberment!! Money hungry liars 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Allowing these grim reaper nets on the mainstem Columbia River is asinine. They kill everything they come into contact with. We have several endangered fish on the main stem. Tens of millions of dollars are spent to protect the salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon. Yet Wa and Ore are going to let these nets into the river. The kill netters were given millions of dollars through the salmon and steelhead endorsement. To change their netting for a lot less invasive net. They took the money spent it and didn't do the change as promised. Yet their still taking the money breaking contracts and killing a once abundant fishery. Lets not forget the sea lion problem. Were spending millions on that to. Pretending to protect these endangered fish. BTW if ya'll buy wild caught salmon or steelhead from stores or restaurants your part of the problem.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

I feel the same Blacklab.  Really on the cusp and just saying screw it - No Columbia River endorsement this year.  I'll fish kokanee and trout.  I hate the idea that I'm giving up because I feel like I should fight but the past ten years feels like I'm peeing in the ocean to raise the tide.  Disgusting!

I'm with ya.  It makes me sick how our greedy politicians have so much input on our fish and wildlife.
