Guess I have a small project to do now.

Well crap.......

Now I gotta go see what one of those costs.
They are all pretty reasonable.  My Zev Pro was $150 . And 5 minutes to swap out . Was worth the coin IMO

I've always used the Glock 3.5# connector and the 50 cent trigger job, but I have no basis for comparison other than to stock triggers.

I'm a pretty casual pistol shooter.

Might have to try just replacing the connector.

Order sooner than later.  MidwayUSA, for example, is taking a few days to fill and ship orders, and shipping is ground only.  Not a slight; just current reality.

Just polish where the connector and trigger bar make contact .

For sheets and giggles, and mostly because my current schedule isn't particularly hectic, I'm going to measure the trigger as is, then polish up the plunger, connector, trigger bar, reassemble and measure.  Then I'll drop in the Apex kit and measure.  I'm kinda curious to see how all three compare.

Alot of guys on Ar15.com swear by the $0.25 trigger job . Say the Zevs , Apex,  Overwatch Etc are decent but lighten you wallet alot more then a good  polish job . I dont know I just wanted a flat faced trigger for my Gucci Glock build is why I went with the Zev . I might have to get my brothers 17 and polish all his parts to compare a Zev To Apex  to polish job .

This is my cousin's company.  Not my gig, but I understand these triggers are pretty sweet and they can't make enough of them.

If you're carrying it for personal protection. Nobodies. Run it stock is my vote.

If you're turning it into a range toy, zev, apex, killer, etc... all good enough and will accomplish what you are after.

@B23 Did you get it installed? Was it worth it?

Nope, still sitting in the box on my bench, which happens to have so much friggen sh1t on it I can't even see the bottom.  I told someone the other day, it seems like the more free time I have, the less I get done.

Now that I've ratted myself out for being lazy, maybe I'll go clean my entire gun/loading room and get something done.

Only time a reloading bench is clean is when you first start reloading and when your dead and the kids sell everything

I'm starting to think this trigger kit idea could become very expensive.  Not so much because the kit itself costs much, but it could change my mind about how I feel toward Glocks in general and I'll end up buying a few.  :yike:
It wont . I never liked Glocks , brother bought a couple , I shot them , still didnt like them . Only reason I have my 19 is because I wanted to build a Gucci Glock . Found a Gen 4  for cheap and am using that frame for the build .

Nope, it certainly won't!  Still hate friggen Glock triggers.

Spent all day cleaning my gun room, yeah it was that bad, and installed the new parts.  Lowered the trigger pull about 1 1/4 lbs so instead of being 6 lbs it's now right around 4 3/4 lbs.  I even polished the he11 out of the entire trigger bar, plunger, connector, and the back end of the firing pin to the point they all look chromed.  Everything except the firing pin was a new part from Apex but I polished them to a chrome finish anyway.  I never really had a big issue with how heavy the trigger was but I was hoping to eliminate A LOT of that longggggg azz pull.  It definitely helped shorten the length a pull a little, but nothing like I was hoping for.

So you were right, it's HIGHLY doubtful I'll be acquiring any new Glocks.

This is 100% My Own Opinion,

After owning Glocks, Kimbers, Ruger, HKs, Sigs, Berrettas, and Springfields.
Every pistol I have owned, has shot better "for me" with an aftermarket trigger.

Polishing and sanding down, improved some, a little, but not compared to a good aftermarket trigger.

Pew Pew Tactical has a good write-up about polishing, and good available Glock triggers.
