G20 & chest holster

+1

I was resistant to the idea of a chesty, but now I've joined the club having tried just about everything else.

Kimber Ultra carry .45 with buffalo bore hard cast lead, and spray.
Where did you find the .45 Buffalo bore?  In a store or special order?

Most of the time I carry a 1911 in .22, if not it's a 1911 in 45ACP. Both in a shoulder rig. If Turkey or other birds it's a LC9S or a SIG 320 compact.

For bears, my go-to is spray.

For two-leggers, Ruger .357.

I too carry bear spray for four legged threats. For my sidearm I just stick with my KelTec PF9 9mm with fmj. Someday I'll get to the other end of the spectrum and get a Ruger Alaskan in .454 in a chest holster.

A 375 Ruger, my primary weapon is usually a handgun. :chuckle:

If I'm hunting with a small caliber rifle (6.5 Grendel, 6mm BR) I carry a Super Redhawk in 480 Ruger. If I'm carrying a larger gun like a 338 or bigger I'll carry a GP-100 that I rechambered to 10mm Mag.

Nothing when hunting, too cumbersome. But I do pack a Taurus 444 TIT Ultralite .44 Mag with .305 GN HSM bear loads when going back to a kill in grizz country. Call me cautious  :chuckle:
