I don't fish salt buddy...

If it's a city or county park, according to the governor, it's closed as they are deemed public gathering areas.

ALL WDFW WATER ACCESS SITE AS WELL!!

That means EVERY public boat launch in this stupid State!

Are Idaho lands still open?? I'll go there for two weeks! *censored*s!
No it does not. There are launches owned by cities, counties, private entities, etc.
I bet fewer than 10% of access is WDFW or state, maybe less than 5%.  For me, I launch at probably 10 different sites a year and I can only think of one that is state owned.
I think it's far more than that but probably less than 50%, just depends on where you are in the state.

I think most people quite simply just don't know the difference between a WDFW launch and a non-WDFW launch. Good example is pull up to a non-state owned launch and see how many WDFW/Discover Pass passes are being displayed even though they are not applicable off state lands.  :twocents:

Lake WA isn't salt.

It's up to each city or county to close their lands. Some are, some aren't. He banned  "gatherings" not "gathering areas."

Of all the hardships mankind has faced in history, I think spending off days on the couch instead of fishing for a few weeks ranks pretty low.

Do share..

City of Everett, City of Mukilteo, Kayak Point, Lake Goodwin, Wyatt Park, Flowing Lake, Fish Lake, Lake Chelan, Lake Cavanaugh, Ilwaco, Chinook, Hammond, Warrenton, Skipanon, Edmonds, Longview, Kalama, I could probably list another dozen I use depending on the year.  Then there are the foot or car access sites which are literally countless.

The one state launch I use is Ft. Casey.

If I want to fish, there are plenty of options.

I would suggest you start Googling their individual websites cause you will see things like this from the Lake Washington Mercer Island launch: note "all public access"

And apparently you did not see where I said "It's up to each city or county to close their lands. Some are, some aren't."

Nowhere in the Governor's order did he direct local parks or gathering areas to be closed. It is up to each land managing agency to determine to stay open or close.

In fact here is the Governor's order:

 :yeah:

but it'll cascade across state, county (as shown above) and maybe even federal access points.

Every single alternate launch or park I have looked up is falling in line. I couldn't contact Mardon but all the locations around me are shutting down public access and it just keeps growing...

It's posted on their individual websites. I plan on calling directly tomorrow but there probably won't be anyone around to answer phones.

Either the public owns it or not, whoever controls it, WDFW, City State, corp of engineers,BLM, national forest sevice....Jesus, its our land!

Why do we have to play this agency bullcrap?

Not how it works. Should your city tax dollars go to pay for a boat launch in Maine? Should your county tax dollars go to fund a park in Florida?
