need seat belt part for 2001 dodge ram
« on: April 09, 2020, 10:26:55 PM »
I need the plastic piece on the drivers side back rest were the seat belt goes in. Mine is broke and is a pain. I checked with Geno's they don't know. Dealer says whole new seat belt. Nothing on E bay unless there is another way to type it in. I think about auto wreck yard, but seem other than taking the whole seat apart the easiest way would be to cut the plastic to remove it, then glue together before putting into the seat slots.

Anyone know where one could be obtained (other than wrecking yard, sorry auto recycle).

Anyone have a better idea (other than getting another truck) ?

There's a lot of low risk criminals that have been let out of jail lately, I'm sure some were car thieves.  You just need to track one down and I'm sure they'd be happy to get you one since they're probably out of work too.   :chuckle:

Here is a guy parting a truck that has one. Don't know where you are located, if this is close to you or not

Hey, thanks guys I will check it all out.

Yeah, I seen on the Seattle News where crime has gone UP. What did they think would happen when they let people out of jail! I guess they can go catch them again.
