Ling run, Monday (18th) open seat with conditions.
« on: May 14, 2020, 11:25:33 AM »
Here's my plan ......

Arrive at Everett launch around 6am  put in, square away gear.  Hit the head.

Leave dock, head towards 9, stop and work on catching flounder and sand dabs for bait. I use light action rods with little jigs tipped with squid or something.

For lings i like jigs, swim baits,  flat fish, whole squid etc.

I have rods for all purposes.

Low tide is time to get to the serious work so i plan to hit my spot hard from 9am to 11am. After that I'll be heading back.

I'm currently running an 18ft RHBoats center console.

If you are interested here is what I expect and ask....

Have some gear, rods, lures etc. Glad to share but not a guided trip here...
Be on time.
Have a valid license.
I have an extra self inlation type pfd, you will wear it at all times on the boat.
Be dressed to manage the boat ride.
Don't ask if you can bring anyone else.  This is a two person trip
Be available via text the morning of in case of plan changes due to weather.
Byof....snacks or food is on you.
No covid talk. Seriously,  you will swim home.

Pm with questions and lets kill a few ling or maybe a cabbie!

Also, my policy on gas money, launch fee etc is if you feel inclined to chip in, ty, but not required.

I'm serious about it also. Topics that are acceptable range from beer, guns, weapons of various types, ice or no ice in whiskey, neck shots, long range shooting, pellet guns, childhoods,  wives, girlfriends, neighbor rants, the merits of the 6.5 creedmore, scopes, boats and brands, gasoline blend, best batter recipe for deep frying, first car, kids, various college mascots,  cooking shows,  best lines from Eddie Murphy and/or Will Ferrell, what style of shoulder mounts are best, yiur best fishing lie, time or times you have been in prison and why, best type and brand of knives for skinning and self defense,  that time you got drunk at an exes wedding, boxer vs briefs......just to name a few.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media.
