They say you can use any. I used peanut oil because that was all we had at the moment. If I would’ve had vegetable oil I would’ve used that😉🥃🇺🇸

You guys season the grill w vegetable oil, or what is best?

I use Crisco on my cast iron, tends to be less messy than oil and easier to control. I use the same on my camp chef griddle.

Love my griddles! Have a 36” Blackstone for home use and 22” for camping! I not longer have a regular bbq I just use my griddle or pit boss smoker! Great meals!!

My nephew has it dialed in....pheasant breasts that end up as sweet and sour with fried rice all on the griddle...one meal convinced me to buy one.  Enjoy    and there is always the breakfast burrito

I have used Flax seed oil on my cast iron.
