Drew a 49 north bull moose tag. Time to start some research.

It’s a fun hunt.  At least for the couple hours I hunted

I take it you were successful? I saw at WDFW that 11 out of 12 harvested last year. I don't want to be that 12th guy this year. I have never hunted or even been in this unit before. I plan on going several weekends to learn it. Any pointers on where to start? N,S,E,W, high, low. Anything for a jumping off point would be appreciated.

I drew spring bear in that unit, I live about an hour south. I could point you in the direction to where we've been seen bulls. They're all over the unit but we found them consistently in a certain area along with a few sheds. Shoot me a PM

Congrats on drawing your moose tag. I drew with dirty mike last year and had a great time. Enjoy your hunt, each and every moment.
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

Got a couple tips and had productive first scouting trip. Anyone have any thoughts on their feeding/bedding habits as we get into summer then fall?

Well, after 4-3 day weekends putting on the miles by truck, foot, and quad I think I have a plan. Of course like most plans it'll probably go out the window by mid morning of the second day. Thanks to those that offered up advice, you gave me some good jumping off points. And I'll still take more if anybody has any.........
