Leftovers usually can be grabbed around mid-August.

WDFW usually will put out an email and will post on their web page when the left over sales will be, should they have them this year with the COVID crap.  Deer is the easy one, Elk usually sell out in a matter of seconds.  It will be interesting to know how many go unsold with all the lockdown and china bug going around.  As for the timing in early August, it is then because they winner of the multi draw have until 31 July to purchase them, so for now they don't know how many leftovers they have yet.  I was fortunate to "win' a left over Elk tag four years in a row, even won two one year, although they figured that out within 24 hours and voided one of the tags.  Due to work I have tried again in four years now, but at least I'm back in the window to draw again.  We'll see what next year brings, two person team draw on two antlerless cow tags for modern rifle this year!!! woohoo...
