Kelly hill bear
« on: June 16, 2020, 04:10:21 PM »
Was out visiting with my neighbor, she asked if I had a bear tag. I said I did but didn't get a spring bear tag draw. 😪

But she said I could have at him in the fall. When my tag is good.

But where can I find a bear?  I’ve got a friend that needs to know. Please PM coordinates to cut down on my scout time.

Looks a little soggy and perhaps he is rubbed out on his side.

I wouldn't shoot him then, you should save him for your 2nd tag ;) :chuckle: :twocents:

Thank you for your suggestion.

But I won't shoot him either. I will keep an eye on him for the next couple of weeks. He won't wander far. I have contacted a member and perhaps his son will be able to hang a tag on him as his first bear.  :chuckle:

But then he will have to venture here from the Westside. Wetside as you refer to it.

Last year the amount of bear Poo was amazing so I am fairly confident I should be able to find one for myself as well.

Last few runs to my phone booth, I was dodging piles most of the way.  But I'm waiting for the 'breakfast bear'.   ;)  No reason to wear myself out.   :dunno:

Be careful going to the phone booth you could slide off the road.   :yike:

I would pass on him and wait for one of those Grizzly bears from Montana to come over

Oh yeah!  When is it going to dry out?  That's why I haven't tried a run over  Flagstaff Mt.

In the last week I have seen 2 different bears, went fishing on the 18th on the way to the lake had a bear in a clearing that I just got to see the end on it going into the brush. Perhaps Ghost's Breakfast Bear?
Today I made a return trip to catch enough brookies for dinner tonite. Fishing was slow but on my way back I had a buck I was looking at in among the range cattle. A rig was coming towards me and he pulls up and asked if I was watching the bear? Nope I was looking at the buck in with the cattle. We got out and the bear was on the other side of a bump. Young bear but he was just roamin around and took off up hill.   :chuckle:

On a side note the Muskytoes must be starving you get out of the rig and you have many friends.    :IBCOOL:
