Anyone fishing north river rods?
« on: June 24, 2020, 08:05:50 PM »
They are made my okuma for fishermans. They have a pretty good sale on them for 70.00 and they say limited life time warrenty. So wondering if anyone has any feedback on them. I'm needing to pick up a few more trolling rods and thinking they might fit the bill.

I have not had a north river salmon rod since ww grigg ? (May be wrong there ) made them but it was a good rod however I landed a a nice springer jack on one of there ultralight trout rods last year while shad fishing and it held up fine I have also broke one nr trout rod due to stupidity (in back of pickup) and fishermans replaced it no questions asked . Anyways for the price I say go for it .

That sounds like a pretty good review. I called today and asked and they said keep the receipt and if anything happens to it from normal use they would just swap it out if there is any problem with it.

I have had at least 8 going back 10 years. We have had very good luck with them being a less expensive rod.
