I was almost going to buy the 6.5-300 but finding ammo for it is impossible. I called Weatherby before I ordered my rifle and they said they didn't have plans to make any more ammo for the 6.5-300 until September. So I went with the 7mm weatherby magnum instead in the Accumark Elite. Just got my glass for it as well from Leopold got the vx-6hd 3-18x50.
