No worries, just trying to help others get MS tags. I have a receipt from 1:22 pm today, but I did call yesterday to inquire why I didnt an option to buy one online. I spoke to a nice gentleman that noted I had called yesterday and in less than 15 minutes I was done. I think if you called yesterday because you didn't have the option online then they essentially reserved a MS tag for you. I have a hard time believing they sold 2700 permits in 24 hours. If I didn't have one already then I would be calling again tomorrow.

I picked up my multi season around 4 pm on the 18th. And to my surprise the lady didn’t bother taking my old deer tag. I guess I have two deer tags now.  :chuckle:

I bought mine online 1st day about 10:30 or so. It took me a frustrating 10 minutes to figure it out but I finally did. I clicked on everything and couldn't find anything. Logged out a d went back to their email and logged in from their link and was able to get it done from there. It wouldn't give me the add to cart option until I went through their link.

I'm shocked as much as everyone that they are sold out. This throws a kink in the plans since I already took the week off for muzzy deer hunting. So I'm looking into an OTC tag out of state. Does anyone still have those available?

No way!
I talked to a guy down there on the 17th He said it has never sold out. No reason to be in a rush to purchase it.
Man if it is, I really messed up waiting a couple days.
Are You guys 100% sure of this info?

I called today around 3pm. The lady I spoke with told me they sold out the first day.

Seems strange that it doesn't even show up on the licensing website. Elk is sold out (as always) and shows up on the site with a grayed out button. Multi-season Deer Tag is plain missing.

Sounds like a system glitch to me.

They definitely didnt sell out the first day. I bought one the 2nd day and I know of another member that was able to get one yesterday after calling them. I think anyone that called on day one because you couldn't buy one online has been able to buy a tag.

Ok
this is the short of it
they messed up on multiple levels (shocker), not answering emails, online sale issues, in store people sales unable to get threw to call them.
they have locked the sale of multi season deer. Not 100% sold out yet.
the reason is to allow the people that emailed them on the 18th to have an opportunity to still buy a multi season deer tag. for the rest of us we are out of luck this year.
They got blown up with calls and could not keep up. they did not anticipate this level of popularity as it had never sold out in the past.
I'm angry because I called the day before to set it up and that don't count :(
also tried to get it online and the option was not there :(
none of these reasons are accepted at this time. only if you emailed on the 18th do you have a tag set aside for you. guess I chose the wrong way to get My muli tag this year. I'm really Bummed out.
Guy was friendly but hurts none the less. I guess I'll have to focus 100% on bear :(

At least you got the scoop. I tried calling again and the phone just rings once, makes a beeping noise, and then disconnects.

Good luck bear hunting.

Sheesh, how could they have not known they were going to get a ton of calls?  Maybe the theory was that this would be the one thing in the whole country having to do with outdoors that wasn't going to be hugely popular.
