Crab bait?

Fresh or stinking rotten
Had success with both, Probably more with fresh”ish”
Had a freezer go bad and have a pile of chicken and some fish.
Going to go soak it regardless,
Just wondering what the consensus is?

I have more luck with fresh bait. Even after a 48 hour soak I will change out what is in the pot and have seen better results when I do this. But since your freezer went out you may as well try what you have.

Yeah, 4 pots, I’ll do 2 with fresh, 2 not
Not next to each other, but at a similar depth, In a productive area
I’ll post results

The crab I catch don't care.
