Idaho Unit 37 Rifle Elk
« on: August 16, 2020, 05:14:30 PM »
Hey All,

I recently moved out to Idaho from Washington and got lucky enough to draw the early rifle elk tag for Unit 37. This is a pretty cool unit that contains Mt. Borah, the tallest mountain in Idaho. My girlfriend and I just had our first son earlier this month, so my scouting time will be limited. After reviewing maps I've noticed Unit 37 is pretty packed with roads so I'm trying to zero in on some areas where I can pack in and get away from the stream of vehicles buzzing around. Just wanted to throw a hail mary here and see if anybody on this forum had hunted unit 37 in the past and has any advice for a sleep deprived dad.

Thanks everybody
