How to remove scratches and trail pin stripes
« on: August 20, 2020, 12:22:29 PM »
I’ve had people ask how I remove the swirl marks and pin stripes from hunting and off-roading trips, so I made a video to show the process

I use almost the same method but have been using Chemical Guys VSS, works really well on the truck and boat.

Our boat has some fade to it. I have been thinking of trying to brighten it up.
Great ideas

I had very light swirl marks, nothing very deep and the VSS is a pretty gentle product as far as abrasives go.  You would need something more aggressive for deeper scratches.  VSS puts a higher polish on, so I am able to coat without having to do a final polish.

I had good luck with other products too, the big thing is putting in the time behind the polisher.

Have you tried one of the clay mitts or fabrics?  I got tired of fumbling around and dropping the actual clay products and moved to a mitt and they work as good and are much easier to use.

Nice I will have to see if I can get rid of any of my warpath marks I picked up while filling my moose tag a couple years ago

I have one one but have not used it. I recently bought some mother’s clay and it’s terrible, way too soft.
