Notched my White River bull permit on this guy. We hunted for three days on the opener, and something happened to my knee the last day. Rested for four days, before getting out again but the knee started flaring up right away. Had to lower my expectations. Not complaining, but we all have our own dreams and goals. Was bitter/sweet because I was able to combo deer/elk hunt with my cousin who also drew, and there are still 12 days left on this tag. But, he was DRT with one through the heart at 15 yards, only half a mile from the truck and he'll fill a pretty good void in the freezer, so that is good.

My daughter and I drew the permit from the Green River unit, and we both got it done. Hers was with 2 hours left in the season.
