"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

Unlike all the other Flyways, the Pacific Flyway includes Mergansers in the regular duck limit. The other flyways have a separate 5 Merganser limit to include only two Hooded Mergansers. So in the Pacific Flyway you can shoot a total of 7 a day (your current duck limit) of any of the three species we have here, Hooded, Common or Redbreasted.

For your information they don't taste like crap, they are a rather sporting bird, they decoy well most of the time and the Commons are huge.

Please head down to the Columbia and thin out as many as you can, then catch as many squawfish as you can too...............rf

never heard of a good way to eat squawfish. cant get away from the mud taste lol. :fishin:

 I shot a common a couple years ago. I grabbed by the neck and hurt. I cut it open and it had eaten a yellow belly bullhead and it was the barbs sticking out the neck. I did that thing a favor shooting it. Everything I shoot gets eaten. I never said by me.
