NRA says maximum range for .308 is 2.6 miles.  The problem with hunting in places with a bunch of houses is that it can be very hard to ensure there isn't a house, car, person, livestock, pets, etc within 2.6 miles in any direction you might want to take a shot.  If the 2.6 mile line leaves the property you are hunting it can be incredibly difficult to determine if the shot is safe.

Still very concerning......... thing is we as hunters all had to take hunters safety right...?? Well I know for a fact they teach to always be sure what your background is and where you’re at before you ever take a shot at an animal....!!

If it was “the guide”......... well he should know better, but seems like it doesn’t really matter much to that guy...!! He has quite the reputation in this area for some of the shenanigans he pulls.!

Simply because the area and the reputation that "that guide person " has I'm assuming he is affiliated.

I can not confirm as I wasn’t there just went by all this while driving g by. One land owner was saying no, he saw two people with guns on there shoulder walking to the blind walking with buckets. 

I know you can use a bow during muzzy with a muzzy tag.

A blind facing in the direction of some houses doesn't necessarily mean someone would be shooting directly at a house. It's something you'd probably have to see in person to really know. But just to say it's not safe because the direction a blind is facing just seems to me like something that can't be determined without actually being there.

Well y see pretty clear from the house and had gathers quite a few on lookers. But it is true I wasn’t in the blind. The blind wasn’t there this morning.

If we put a 2.6 mile limit for rifles towards any housing there would be very little hunting ground open to a modern firearm in WA.
