Avalanche Gorge goat guys losing some access Monday

Heads up! Artist Point closing Monday, Oct. 12 for the winter. This is not due to snow, but a crumbling wall that is eroding.

Doesn't look like any engineering went into that brick wall.  Not surprised it is falling apart.

And way less day hikers. Earlier this year they had it closed due to a small patch of snow. It really limited how many people went all the way back, bc of that initial climb to the TH.
