The bull measured 47 inches wide

Nice! I was just thinking when I first saw the pic that I could go fetal position and fit in/on those antlers. Huuuge! Great job and congratulations to you and your son!

My father drew the Selkirk tag in 2010 and I cannot believe how much things have changed. I have never seen so much wolf sign as we encountered this season. Every pile of scat was loaded with moose hair....calf’s I would assume. We hunted one particular bull for 5 days in the same drainage and had new wolf sign in the trail every day. There is still a lot of moose in the Selkirk but they are tougher to get at then they used to be.

Theyre fully capable of taking out adult moose.  Its what they do.
