Doubled On Pogue Bucks
« on: November 19, 2020, 10:27:44 PM »
My dad and I drew quality Pogue tags together and after four days of real frustrating hunting in a unit that we've hunted before and "knew" we would kill a couple good bucks. Lady luck and a fluke conversation with a private land owner, pulled us out of the fire. I dropped the idea of a big muley and ended up with a real respectful whitetail and Pops was able to help out a land owner that really wanted a specific buck "culled" off his property.
Great week spent with friends and family and ended up taking home the prize.
Thanks Ken for hanging with us and helping out.

It was a blast to be there and away from work. I love it when a plan comes together.

Way to make it happen. I am a mule deer addict, but I would have taken that whitetail in trade too!
