Man you guys take this stuff seriously.

999.5 out of 1000 of these vehicles will never see any sort of true off road conditions, be it a Rubicon or a Bronco.
exactly.
the amount of people that now need maxtraxx mounted to their trucks for daily driving their kids to school is pretty fantastic anymore.
i know our roads are bad but...
be honest..half of the stuff people do is for looks and personal enjoyment and being able to get into an internet pissing match over whats better.
i'd bet the capability of most these rigs is determined by the yahoo pressing the fun pedal  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I have to say, my serious off roaring days are in the past, I do like the Rubicon, and I am glad the new Bronco will be a decent challenger for the Rubicon.
That will keep both on their toes and pushing the envelope.

Last weekend coming out of Lowe’s, I noticed an SUV I did not recognize. I walked over to take a look. It was the new Chevy Blazer!
As SUVs go it was not hideous, and much, and I mean much better looking than any of the Disgustingly horrible looking offerings Chevy currently has.
But that is not saying much. Needless to say, the new Bronco or Rubicon have nothing to fear from Chevy’s new grocery getter.

Apparently so does the ford parts guy.

I’m not sure if you’re talking about me, but I’m not a parts guy. I work for a living 😂

Technologically speaking, I think the new Ford Bronco is more advanced and in stock form more capable the any Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and I've had a couple.  BUT, and this is coming from a Ford guy, I still think the Jeep Wrangler Rubi is a better looking vehicle.  I'm hoping once I actually see the new 2dr/4dr Bronco in person that'll change because like I said I'm a Ford guy and I've always liked the Bronco's particularly the Gen1's.

I don't know why we are all so upset about the non off-road trim level bronco, or even really by the base specs of it. How many serious off roaders haven't dumped 15-60k in upgrades to power train, suspension, bolt on shovel holders etc? Everyone bashes Jeep's until the new bronco comes out then Jeep's are the second coming of Christ  :chuckle: seeing the around town bronco has changed my mind not one bit. Still looking forward to seeing the real one released and actually getting to climb into one, although shame on me I've been at this level of anticipation for what seems like 24 years  :chuckle:

 :yeah:

I was up on Burch Mt in swakane this year. Im driving a Chevy Silverado with A/T's on and on my way out a Rubicon with 35's and all the fancy stuff hanging all over his rig had to turn around because he couldn't get to the top. Cracked me up

If it came with a fridge/freezer combo and an espresso machine in the back along with 87 LED lights pointing in every directoin, I think some call it "overlanding?", they would probably sell even more. :chuckle:

It will be the same as Jeep, those few that really want to offroad will buy one and then dump thousands or tens of thousands into upgrades.  It's built for the average person who wants a comfortable vehicle with modern conveniences that is capable in the snow and a bit of mud on gravel roads sometimes.

Yes Sir!

Chevy has a bad habit of resurrecting old names that stood for something, hoping it will sell one or two more if their hideous recreations

Still just a sport, but a more “loaded” sport.
