Montana's study on Grizzly Bears
« on: December 15, 2020, 06:04:36 AM »
Here's a report from Montana's future Grizzly Bear Management.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Interesting. I didn't realize the north cascades recover zone was as large as it is on the appendix map it shows all recovery zones in addition to Montana's). The zone is very close to the city of Wentachee.

Interesting to see the Bitteroot recovery zone which appears to to cover much of the Frank Church wilderness. I recall reading an article from Idaho F&G that as soon as a grizzly bear is confirmed to be living in Idaho they will start issuing grizzly bear tags to hunters
