Little swamp rats feel empowered. When you push you will recieve pushback.

Read an article the other day that said 53% of Americans were preparing for civil war and 63% believed it will happen.

*censored* politicians are to stupid/arrogant to be frightened by those numbers.

I suspect something this radical would have no chance in gaining passage, but then again, look at the whoppers these idiots have passed in the past.  That said, there was a reason the Japanese never invaded America during the war,.... much the same reason the Brits got shot when they asked for our guns....

Follows closely with the comment above, 53% preparing for the big one, 63% think the big one is coming...…..

:yeah: Having a national registry and make public information about gun owners would never pass the stink test for Constitutionality.

I agree but only if you are an originalist. Some on the courts believe it is an ever changing document.

There are plenty of Ds from rural areas who would commit political suicide by supporting this.

Political posturing. Impossible to enforce.

I think the main problem would be the roughly 72 million gun owners in America.

The second Amendment was created to allow the citizens to prevent and remove a corrupt and tyrannical  government like what they fought against way back then!   Maybe it is time to remind a few certain persons that they were elected to work for us and not their own political gain.
My father and I am sure many of your father and grandfathers fought in the WW2 against the Nazi for this very reason.  If you think about history Hitler got himself elected on a very popular platform then took away the rights away from the citizens and their guns, so that they could rise against him.
Does that sound familiar?  My father said something like this would come to pass in the near future.  I am glad he is not with us to see this happening.
I am sorry to see people think that they can just destroy the Constitution for their own political gain.
Those who do not remember their history are bound to repeat it.

When guns are outlawed then only outlaws will have guns!
The same with ammo!
The same with personal liberties

Thank god we got Amy Coney Barret into the Supreme Court. This was far more important than getting Trump re-elected.

Only an amendment to the constitution can change or eliminate another amendment.

Talk about forgetting history. Hitler was never elected. He was appointed chancellor and then assumed power when the president died and he made himself fuhrer by using the power of his party to bypass an election. I know it’s off topic but it’s too much to talk about forgetting history and get your historical facts wrong

If you are not willing to die for freedom then take the word out of your vocabulary.
