Special hunt help!
« on: April 21, 2009, 01:39:05 PM »
Ok i'm a disabled hunter and i have 4 points going into the draw. I cant hike really far from the roads , but i can walk some. So which of these hunts would be a good draw for me to get. (2702) Gmu 346 Little naches c, (2213) Gmu's 336 & 346 peaches ridge c, (2211) Gmu's 328 & 329 Clockum c , and (2220) Gmu 371 alkali B? I'm a muzzleloader hunter and really wanna get my first bull. Any info helps. Thanks :dunno:

You'd be gold with the first three.

 :yeah:
Out of the hunts you listed it is the harder one to draw.  Also if you do draw that tag you will be alone in the woods up there since there is not a general ML season there.  Another advantage is since it is true spike only, not many bowhunters like me in there before you chasing them around.  Non-pressured elk is a beautiful thing.  Also there are some massive bulls up there with arguably better genes than the Yakima herd.  Also there is alot of road access up in the Colockum and since you said you can't get around all that well this would help you get into alot of places that you normally would not be able to.  Good luck.  And if you get drawn for the Peaches Tag I'd definately give Norse a call.
