Scheels has been good.  I have bought quite a few bullets from them just recently.

Once it is clear the peak is over we will see a lot of private selling.

Yep.   

My kid just sold a 200 round can of 6.5 grendel plinking ammo for $515.   

Meanwhile I took my grendel out and shot about 120 rounds.   Realized that at todays prices that was a $300 shoot.    Even though i bought the ammo 3ish years ago, it kind of shook me.  I'm not used to lighting 3 $100 Bill's on fire for an afternoon shoot.

I'm thinking when primers hit a grand+ per 1000 I may sell a few.  That seems like a crazy amount but as a hypothetical if they do and I have guys standing in line to buy them at that kind of a crazy price does that make me a bad person....

Those eligible to receive checks are also the most likely to need the money at some point. I bet most of it gets sold not shot, though it may take a while. Over the short term it does add fuel to the fire.
