Is that it on the tree on the right toward the top of the screen? If yes daaaaamn that thing is huge. I will have to show this to a friend who is deathly afraid of spiders. He might vomit just by seeing it!

LOL There are actually two spiders one is visible just under the top broken branch on the right hand tree.  The other pops out at 9 seconds in the video and climbs up to the other one.

That coyote looked at it and laughed to himself

I feel your pain, as Bill used to say.  This year I caught NO cats on the West-side (6 cats on the east side) but I had several cats go as far as to actually leave footprints inside the cages. It left me wondering what else I could have done.  I heard from several other trappers that had our same problem at the Rendezvous.  Did anyone use a bait, lure, attractor or other technique that they think got half-committed West-side cats to fully commit this year?

Oh, and I had other set backs, LOL.  For example, a big tree that fell on one of my cages.  I'll have to use a shovel or chainsaw to get this crushed cage back ... or leave it for the archaeologists.

Pretty cool, neighbor.
