2021 Springers
« on: March 25, 2021, 08:11:29 PM »
Going after them starting Monday 29. Should be one or two in the area with this little bump in rain. Anybody else?

Oh yeah! I'm setting up the trailer at Columbia Riverfront RV Park and fishing it hard from 3/29 Mon -> 4/1 Thr. Gonna troll past Prescott Beach about 50 times :)

Love hearing reports of limits! And yes, when the dam count hits 200, season = closed.

By the time it hits 200 a day it’s just barely beginning for me 😎. Then it goes until November.

Tuesday & Friday fished St Helens area.  Not many boats Tuesday, did not see a net in the air.  Friday counted 35 boats, saw two fish.  At Cathlament Thursday, they're on their way

Well life happens. Started my springer season this morning. About three hours in. Decided to go up river to make another run. My main motor started making weird noises. Didn’t know what it was so decided to come in on the kicker. When I got home put on the Mickey Mouse ears and found out it’s the lower unit. The problem is still unknown🥲😉🥃🇺🇸

Fished out of Kalama Saturday morning, unfortunately I was on call at work and sure enough, I got called out about 11am. We didn't see or hear of any thing until we got to the launch, fish checker had checked a couple.
Going to try again tomorrow and Wed after work and again Sat/Sun, thankfully I'm no longer on call.

I'll trade 100 primers for a pound of springer, seems like they are both worth about $100. :chuckle:  Let's see some pics of fish here!
