Have not been around raw furs since my childhood. I am curious what the expected financial haul is for your stack of furs? I know it depends on the quality and current pricing but not sure what it pays to trap anymore. My grandfather was a raw fur buyer on the East Coast for many years including the Depression years. He worked for a major firm in Boston. I have some of his records of buying and pricing in the early 1900's. My Dad trapped for some years along the Connecticut River, mainly muskrat and occasionally a mink. He was always excited when he got a mink because of the huge difference in prices between the two species.
