Primer availability
« on: April 08, 2021, 11:34:50 AM »
I gotta ask - I’ve looked around locally and haven’t been able to locate any 209s. Anyone have a lead on them in the Tacoma area or have a sleeve or two they wouldn’t mind selling?

Just looking for enough to work up a load and hunting season, don’t need thousands.

Thanks!

Edit: just to clarify, I’m not looking for free primers, I’m willing to pay fair market value. After posting this and re-reading it seemed like it could be taken as I was looking for a handout.

I’m brand new to muzzleloaders. I just bought my first one two days ago. I ordered some on basspro online and had them shipped to my house. They’re the Winchester 209 777. I don’t know how well they stack up to other primers but it’s all I could find. Set up notification emails on a bunch of the sites.
