Reading that article idk. I’ve never heard of a bullet being described in traveling miles per hour or the projectile being brass

Interesting stuff, but I don't see much of an application for recreational shooters and hunters.  It sounds like the big (only?) advantage is weight which doesn't factor in with a guy carrying 10 rounds or shooting in a pit 10 yards from the truck.

They didn't mention cost, I would assume if it was going to be cheaper to make they would have mentioned that as well.

For non military use, is the casing reloadable? If it’s not significantly less cost wise, would it be highly sought after without be able to reload? Although, if it’s cheap it might be more preferable than steel cased ammo.

If all else was the same...no reduction in accuracy,velocity, consistency...there would be no reason to not lighten your pack
