I’m not sure sending a letter on someone else’s behalf makes her a terrorist.

Scary, I have not seen them but have a pile of buddies that feed their families by working in the woods and have probably encountered it. Luckily, most logging is mechanized now and it wouldn't be as likely to injure anyone. Equipment repairs would be costly though

Equipment repairs would be costly thoughSpeaking as a retired logger I doubt there was ever much danger to loggers from spiked trees. The real danger was presented in the mill when a saw blade or chipper head came into contact with a spike.
Anyone pounding spikes in trees is a idiot and not a environmentalist.Hopefully more people will come forward and testify.I don’t know anything about this lady, but be careful what you wish for because the next nominee could be worse.
I don't give her a pass for spiking treesWith so many well qualified people, I expect the best, not these people with baggage. And I don't care right or left, nominees should be spotless

IMO she is an improvement over Pendley, but maybe not 100% perfect. I think she will be good for hunters though.

I agree with her politics so matter what crimes she committed I support and anyways Trump is to blame. The leader at conservation NW is also a self admitted eco terrorist and I imagine Mitch is a close friend of hers as they were members in the same terrorist organization. She has zero experience running and managing a large organization but her left wing radical politics makes her unquestionably qualified to manage our public lands. She could not even qualify for a basic background clearance because of her terrorist ties and that would exclude her from many entry level govt jobs. . This is such crazy logic but normal these days. Just like BHA leadership pushing gun bans to help back country hunters.talk about cognitive dissonance. BHA, or the leadership involved with BHA?
