I’m sorry all of you had a hard time. They really do need to change this portion of the system. I recommend they do it like elk contact the next person in order.
I tried everything last year attempting to purchase a left over tag. I was so angry once I got threw and found out it was sold out.

Sad guys care about this tag.  Literally looked on the site to see if guys made a thread about multi.  A) back in the day it was free 2) you still have to hunt hard 3) you gave our state more $ 4) you will spend 1k on a muzzle loader and bow you will never use again.  Dudes want a tag so bad on this site (because wa odds are > .03% that crap like this becomes a point of conversation.

The only reason I like the multi season tags is my work schedule dictates when and how much I'm able to hunt. I have and enjoy all three weapons so no big deal, but when I didn't have a ML I just used my bow which I prefer anyways.

Best of luck everyone.

:yeah:
If you hunt East side ,I'm not paying that for most lands closed for fire season.
Early archery+muzzy+early rifle ,your more than likely gonna see a sign like this.

Here is what I think was happening yesterday, as I understand it wasn’t , fair, equal, consistent, or the same for everyone.

They weren’t available at 10am for me like the email said. Finally about 10:20 I had it appear as an option, got it on the cart, went to check out and that was as far as I got, all day. I tried multiple browsers, phones, ect. It just sat in the cart with the circle of death, and usually the “Oh deer” crash, or some weird code error with a target and arrows at the bottom. Regardless of how many log ins or log outs I did, it was still in the cart, I just couldn’t check out.

Finally around 3pm I figured I would give it another try. I logged back in and it was no longer in my cart. I assume, Like after 4 hours of so, if you haven’t bought it, it automatically removed it from the cart. There was also none available at that time. So I figured I was out of luck.

Because I was enjoying hitting refresh every 3 minutes for the past 5 hours of the day, I figured I would try again, because what would I rather do with my life?

So I logged out and back in again and it gave me the option so I bought it ASAP. Probably around 3:20 or something. My guess is at about 3 to 3:30 the max time tags could be in a cart was expiring, so they were dumping them back into the system. So the people buying them then, were buying the ones someone else had in their cart earlier, but couldn’t purchase due to the crash. So they were just randomly appearing as available if it just came out of someone else’s cart. That’s why some people could find them and others couldn’t. It was just the luck of the timing

I could be totally wrong, I’m no tech expert. Just a guess.

A few of my buddies tried and tried throughout the morning as well with no luck. They both got through the system and got the tags around 2:30-3.

Or some guys who burn all their PTO out of state and already have muzzleloaders and bows and rifles don't mind spending what equates to an extra tank of diesel or a nice dinner out to extend their season by an extra 2+ months. "Back in the day" a new car was 5 grand too, but I don't cry about about that when I'm looking at pickups now because it's irrelevant.

Perhaps this could be like calling to any other business where you dealing with customer service folks. You are placed into a que and as they complete the person ahead of you you move forward in que. But when everyone in the state is anxious to throw more money at a system. You just have to wait your turn!!! I'm guessing that "Both" folks can only process one at a time. With the reduced budgets they aren't going to bring extra people for this.

This is exact what Idaho did this year, and it worked great. You could see your number in line, no guessing as to what might be going on.

First year in 10 or so where I don’t have a deer MS tag.  Bummer!  Always worked great in being able to hunt around my out of state schedule.

I think the last time I hunted the WA general was 2012.   The idea is growing on me. :chuckle:
