I am a little concerned about the woods being open or not.  I would really like to do this in September.  The season is long with this tag so at some point the woods will be open but for me this experience is going to be about bugling bulls and my bow.  Inches of antler will certainly come into the decision with such a liberal season I don't have to settle.  Of course in 2017 I had a 14 day season and ate the tag versus settling.  No way do I eat this one.  375 is the mark and I am pretty confident I can get close or over the 400" mark if I hold out to December.  I will be shocked if I still have a tag come November if the woods are open in September.
