Ground Blind Recommendations
« on: August 14, 2021, 11:11:22 PM »
Thinking about replacing my ground blind at the last minute. Any recommendations? It will be used primarily for archery hunting, need something durable yet light (sub 20lbs ideally). I know there is a trade off at some point between durability and weight, would lean more towards a durable option if I had to. I really like taller shooting windows as well, usually set up in timber/mountain terrain, occasionally set up at water.

Last one I bought was a cheap Ameristep that has help up well over the last three seasons.

Yep

I have three, and a Double Bull. I like the Ameristep the best. But I am a muzzy hunter.

Wouldn’t buy a A Double Bull, I don’t like the material or the way the windows work.

I did buy three of the new surround view stake out blinds for turkey and I like them.

Can’t wait to hunt elk out of the blind.

In bright light can you see through the material? They sure are interesting if you can't see through them at any time!

Nice. Those Ameristeps are pretty darn good for the money. Think mine was on sale for like $100. I like to shoot out of the corner window actually.
