WSTA Summer Rendezvous
« on: August 17, 2021, 06:35:51 PM »
Another great WSTA Rendezvous has past and we are already planning on the 2022 event (renamed The Washington Trapline Exposition). The weather was hot and smoky but everyone endured it well. Thank goodness for air-conditioning! The food and demonstrations were exceptional again this year.

Changes are coming to the event and with WSTA. I am proud to announce an additional event being added in December this year. Not sure what we are officially going to call it but the WSTA will be hosting a "Trapping Seminar" this winter in Western Washington. The seminar will be a hands on experience where we will be setting and checking traps for multiple species. More to follow soon!

The WSTA is working on finishing the new website that will allow everyone to join and renew their memberships on line.

We are working on new logo designs and updated apparel.

Zach has made it his personal mission to improve upon our auction items for the 2022 Expo.

I will start a campaign of attending events with other like minded organizations in an effort to garner new relationships.

The WSTA is moving towards having a presence at Washington State Sportsman's Shows in an effort to support our mission and educate others about trapping.

Lastly, I want to personally thank all of our supporters, all of you that attended and all of those that help out with the event.

Doug

If you are a new trapper what would it take to get you to the Rendezvous?
We sent out over 1400 invitations to all the people who passed the online trapper education course and only 4 showed.
What would motivate you to join us at the Rendezvous?
