My 1st EV
« on: August 23, 2021, 10:53:17 AM »
I’m not ready to go full EV yet.  So, this seems like a good place to start.  Jury is still out on how practical it is to own a vehicle with less than 100 miles of range.  But I can load it in the back of the F150 and nobody gets a motorcycle for practical reasons.  I think it’s going to work out.

Nice, does it have an auto-wheelie button?

Someone else is going to have to ride it if there’s a wheelie involved.  I never learned how to ride one.

It's only a tad over 300lbs and scary quick.  The torque from electric motors is pretty amazing.

What kind is it?  Is it street legal? Looks like it is.  And what's the top speed?

It's street legal, I'll never experience the top speed.  Made by Zero motorcycles:

78 ft lbs of torque on a bike that weighs 317 pounds?  Better hang on.

Those Zero bikes are seriously so rad. I'd say one of the best electric motorcycles on the market. ENJOY!

I never would have guessed how inexpensive it is to operate one of these.  I’m averaging 53 WH/mile.   That’s about .6 cents per mile charging it in my garage.

I have to say that the "environmental advocate" folks would do much better for advancing twords eletric vehicles if they focused on baby step technology thike this....

Interesting question, on a “non-EV” bike you control a wheelie with the throttle.

Can a electric or EV bike do the same, with throttle control?
