Yes, mainframe 1x2. I cant fit my hands around his bases. I peeled the velvet off (not a fan of velvet). We had seen him during scouting and thought he was a cactus buck…ended up just being very old.

I shot a deer several years ago that was very similar. Weird bases, points all over down low, in velvet. It turned out to be a doe. Did you notice with yours if it had all the right bits?

It was a buck for sure…one of the biggest bodied bucks ive shot. He was just old and regressing was my guess…

Blacktail...... quality tag. Very fun hunt and tickled with this pretty boy and taking him archery. Pics are rough, it was wet, solo, and fading light.
