Changed the title a bit, got good info on places to go, thanks again guys! Question, after trying to eat my 8 year old bull moose a couple years ago, and talking w a good friend about his big cow moose he killed. We were both not impressed w the meat, so my question, is there any ethical arguments about shooting a 1-2 year old cow? I want the wife to shoot a young moose so we have a better chance at good meat. Thoughts?

I have found on old mature bull elk it needs to be put through the cuber 2-3 times and you have some nice tender steaks!
