The list of signed signatures and the organizations they represent is and should be alarming to anyone who purchases a hunting or fishing license in this state. That letter to Inslee couldn't be more in our faces guys. Action by all should be as mush as a priority as going to elk camp this year. I'm not well versed in how to find out who to contact to voice my concerns. Can someone post a link to make replies to this nonsense easier?

Also, is there a way to get this in front of all of us on here so all can take written action? This one needs swift action.

A great help is sportsman’s alliance. They specialize in helping to protect sportsmens rights in state to state issues. Just google sportsmen’s alliance. On the homepage of their website their is a large option to help protect rights in your state. Simply enter your zip code and it will give you all of your local legislators and senators information and contact information.

There’s a ton of great conservation groups to join and support (IE ducks unlimited, SCI, Rocky Mountain elk foundation and the like). Almost all of these conservation groups are awesome and do a lot of work but in our particular situation Sportsman’s Alliance is one of the best groups we can support. Simply because we are in way more danger of losing our rights to our own fish and game department than we are to habitat loss

Meh...Sportsman's Alliance is indeed a good organization, but I wouldn't be too quick to discount SCI.  They/we are the undisputed 800 lb. gorilla in the game when it comes to fighting to protect hunting and hunters...and it's a VERY rare day in Olympia and D.C. when any other hunting organization takes a stand, with lawsuits or otherwise.

If you doubt that, who do you think discovered the issue before it became public, posted this, helped get this and the other ugly WDFW Commission issue(s) into the light of day via various channels, and has already been in deep conversations with influential legislators.  ;)

That said, I/we don't care about sharing the limelight. SCI only cares about winning. So, let's circle the wagons and use any and all means at our disposal to slam a giant wrecking ball through this anti-hunting nonsense.

Will keep you posted!
