This is all style discussion to me.

It's not wrong and does not mean an archer is  less accurate because they glue nocks. There is clearly a number of people doing it for whatever reasons. You don't have to agree with them. Just like I don't agree with anyone else's styles. Why would someone imply that if I use glue I am potentially unethical because I will not be able to harvest an animal due to the inherent inaccuracies? That's just a load of garbage in my book. People have been harvesting animals with primitive arrows and glued nocks for ages.

How do I re-align my nock? This problem is solved. I put in the exact same spot in my fletching jig. In fact it makes it even easier when refletching because the nock is glued. My accuracy is not a problem. You can come shoot my bows side by side with me any time. We'll see who hits the bullseye more with my arrows and with yours. Also, you may not have had any nocks fall out but this gluing gives me comfort which obviously your word does not.

I could ask someone why they need rangefinders too.  :o :chuckle: How about whisker biscuits?

Talk about petty.  :dunno: :chuckle: When the moment arrives I'll get r' done with glue.

dont gotta blow up over a couple questions, my nocks always need turned after i refletch, i like my cock vane to be up, and lined up with the lable of teh arrow and my jig cant fletch with the cock vane lined up like that. and they do need to be perfect for shooting off a lizard tongue rest which i do. i have just never had any issues losing nocks or having them spin on me.

Glue on the nocks might be off limits because you think tuning and accuracy is more important for your situations and purpses but glue is the answer for my personal reasoning and to me - actually having a nock when I need it is more important than tuning

this is what you said ray.....tuning and accuracy is still #1 for me :chuckle:
Im laughing to about the lets see who hits more bullseye :IBCOOL:

Yeah. With MY bows. These bows don't have sights.

I don't drink beer. You can keep the King Cobras for yourself.

Let me know when you're in town. We'll do it. I'm not normally competitive but with my equipment I think you'll find that gluing a nock is not going to matter one bit as much as yourself being tuned the particular bow. I'll make sure to bring along an english longbow too. Shooting right off the hand is fun.
