"OK" used to be our release command. We now use "Break". Ok is just too commonly used and the dog may be released inadvertently in conversation with someone.
:yeah:

Absolutely. My wife started releasing my dogs with “okay” at meal time and now I inadvertently release them in the field all the time when having a conversation.

Also, it’s good to make sure anyone else that handles your dogs knows what commands you want used.

I appreciate all the input
To me the fun part is the training in the field watching them work is the pay off and icing on the cake

Have not used ‘Okay’ since our first dog for that exact reason.
