OP,

Please do not disseminate false information.  Law abiding citizens already have a hard enough time defending their individual rights with hostile anti-2A Democrat majorities in the House and Senate without having to dispel falsehoods.

If possible, please amend your post to more accurately state the true consequences of this proposed legislation.

Thank you.

Allen

Wouldn't the consequences be that not only can you not purchase a replacement or extra magazine, but the sale of a gun with its STANDARD magazine would be prohibited? Guns with no magazine are pretty much useless....

They would just sell them with 10rd mags. If you purchased a larger cap mag out of state that would make the firearm illegal. According to the bill you need a dated picture with all your large cap mags to prove those mags are “grandfathered” in.

It doesn't make the firearm illegal per se.  There is nothing to prevent you from purchasing a magazine out of state. The problem would be legally importing it if the Democrats succeed in infringing upon your individual rights. The imported magazine and/or parts would be deemed illegal.  Also, they removed the dated picture via amendment.

Feel good story of the day, not at all what I expected!

I certainly hope this is the case and the legislators get the message from the people

Can't understand why people keep voting for these politicians that continually attack the constitution.  Same bs, different year.  They do it year after year, they won't give up.
