Beware of tweakers in this sector.
And the other kind of fur traders holding signs out front calling you the devil.

With a week to go for this event I thought I would bring this to the top. It looks like we have a few changes to the agenda I will note.
Chip Emmons is not going to be able to attend so Jason will do the notification camera demo solo.
Miss Rodeo will not be there. She has committed to attending our Summer Rendezvous.
I think it is likely the demos will run a little short so I will try to squeeze in a round table discussion "Tips and Tricks". I've got a few to get started. We would love to hear any little things you do you have found valuable. Even stuff that seems to you to be well known ideas might be a revelation to a beginner.
Looks like we will have at least 4 fur buyers so it might be a good place to sell.

:hello: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :hello: :hello:
Also can all of you that are going to attend would you bring a couple of your trap tags so I can finish filling up a coyote stretcher with them and auction it off at the summer rendezvous.
I think it would be a great collectors item for your fur shed or on your mans room cave.
Thanks
See you all next weekend.

Maybe a dumb question, as I have never been to one of these.  Are there trappers there that are just selling pelts to ordinary Joes?

Of course it is OK to make private deals but also anyone can bid on auction lots. You do not have to have a fur dealers license to buy furs for private use.

I'll be there and I am buying carcass beaver and just about everything else I can get my hands on. I am hoping for FULL tables, especially western & coastal cats.

I know I won’t make this event but when and where is it planned for this Summer? I’m just over the hill in Idaho now.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

There will be more info on it later but it is scheduled for August 12, 13, 14 at the Chelan county fairgrounds.
