If he didn't buy a point, then he would have gone into the 25% pool with "no points option" selected and his "banked" points wouldn't have come into play.  MT system has a bunch of variables to it.  Everyone that I know who had 2 or more points and selected the points option was drawn.

this isn't correct. You enter the draw with your points whether you want to or not. Only way to be in the 0 point pool (25%) is to actually have zero points.

My ignorance to the way Montana apps works is why I didn’t draw. I Only had one point🤦🏻‍♂️
