Lower Cr reopens update
« on: May 11, 2022, 01:37:01 PM »
Dates will be May 12-22 and June 4-15. The river reopens June 16 for summer chinook fishing. 👍😉🥃🇺🇸

OLYMPIA – As the number of upriver spring Chinook continues to exceed expectations, fishery managers from Washington and Oregon on Wednesday agreed to allow 11 more days on the lower Columbia River for recreational spring Chinook fishing beginning Tuesday, May 24, in addition to two days upstream of Bonneville Dam.

Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

Meh😑 Unless you live on the river, 1 small king is a spendy waste of time. Thank you for opportunity though.

Complete joke - compact has head up their a$$es , bow down to lower river guides and screw the east side working man once again . Instead of doing the right thing splitting up remaining quota and giving everyone another crack at them . Complete steaming pile of crap . I fished last 4 days of the upriver season that was emergency closed two days early and never once got checked at a popular launch that has never not had a checker in the last 15 years ! Boooooooooooo

😅I think folks that struggle for a few scraps haven't yet got it! Salmon are only a summer/fall thing for this guy anymore. And yes, the bass fishing has been really good this spring. Got me my personal best smallie for the westside.

We called Suzyques Mom when we hit the road yesterday morning. She's a fishing fool. She met us at Willow Grove  and we headed out. Not many boats in the area. After an hour or 2 my rod buries. I grab it and say here you go Mom.
After an epic battle between Fisher woman and fish. And one instance where I was worried if she was going to pull the fish in the boat or the fish was going to pull her in the water she won the fight!

Beautiful 15 pounder. Pretty good for somebody 85 years old!

Saw 1 jack caught. Only 2 fish of the day.

As the boat owner, I claim first fish exclusively!
Unless Mom is on board( or Dad), then I pass the torch.
Good job mom!!!
