Migration and rut Bucks
« on: June 01, 2022, 10:35:15 PM »
My trail cams captured a handful of nice typical and non typical bucks before the brutal past winter set in. Finally made it up to these units over the past Memorial weekend. Usually I can access these in April.

I know where I'll be sitting on November 16, 2022 at around 5:00PM if this brute made it through the winter and I have a late season permit in hand. Yep. Not too much guesswork there.

Enjoy!

He is a stout bugger that's for sure. Those big high mountain migrating deer just have enormous bodies on them.

Mike I think you need to cut a larger trail for him to walk thru. Also could you put some does in estrus on a rag and hang it in the tree so I can score him better to see if I want to join you!!!

I'll get right to it Keith. Besides, that trail needs to be wide enough for two bucks to get through at one time.
